Canals and rivers

Laxmipur Sadar Upazila is located in the south east coast of Bangladesh. The river Rahmat Khali flows through this upazila. Rahmat is located in Khali river basin of Tumchar union of Sadar upazila. The river has a deep connection with the people of this region. Manu's livelihood in several unions, including the Sadar Tumchar Union, depends on this river. Rahmat Khali Khal, a tributary of the Meghna River, exists in several unions within Laxmipur Sadar Upazila. The people of the coastal region survive by fighting various natural calamities so they are brave and hardworking in the past.
